Exchange Migration Services — On-Premises, Cloud & Hybrid, San Antonio Exchange Engineers

Exchange migration services for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid Exchange environments

Planning an Exchange migration — or stuck in the middle of one? Call 210-497-1424. We migrate Microsoft® Exchange in every direction: on-premises to Microsoft 365, Exchange Online back to on-premises, hybrid builds and rescues, and version upgrades from Exchange 2003 all the way to Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE) — delivered remotely nationwide. Led by engineers supporting enterprise Exchange environments daily — Database Availability Groups, compliance holds, audited change control, environments where mail simply cannot go down. Whether you run 5 mailboxes or 5,000, that is the level of discipline your migration gets. (Affected by a current Exchange Online outage? We do emergency moves too.)

Exchange Migrations: On-Premises, Cloud, or Back Again

There is no single right answer for where mail should live — only the right answer for your compliance requirements, budget, and appetite for server ownership. We execute all four paths:

  • On-premises to Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online. Cutover, staged, or hybrid migrations with mail flow, Autodiscover, and mobile devices fully handled — so the office comes in Monday and mail just works.
  • Exchange Online back to on-premises (cloud repatriation). Microsoft calls it offboarding, and almost nobody does it — we do. Moving mailboxes out of Exchange Online to Exchange Server on-prem, including archive mailboxes, permissions, and clean coexistence during the move. For organizations leaving per-mailbox subscriptions behind for data sovereignty, regulatory, or cost reasons.
  • Version upgrades on-premises, through Exchange Server SE. We plan and execute the upgrade path from your current version — including the multi-hop migrations legacy versions like 2003, 2007, and 2010 require. We supply, configure, and sell the on-site server hardware and licensing for the upgrade: one vendor for the whole stack.
  • Hybrid builds: on-premises Exchange synchronized with the cloud. Some mailboxes on your server, some in Exchange Online — one shared address book, unified mail flow, and free/busy calendaring across both. We build, fix, and manage hybrid configurations, including Entra Connect directory synchronization, hybrid mail flow, and the certificate and Autodiscover plumbing that makes coexistence seamless.

Already mid-migration and stuck? We rescue migration projects in flight: stalled mailbox moves, hybrid configuration wizard failures, directory sync errors, mail flow broken between on-premises and the cloud, and projects a previous vendor abandoned halfway. We will pick it up, assess where it actually stands, and land it.

We will give you a straight recommendation based on your situation — not on what pays us the most.

One Vendor for the Whole Stack: Hardware, Colocation, DAG, and the Migration Itself

Most migrations stall because three different vendors point at each other: the hardware seller, the host, and the migration consultant. We eliminate that. We sell and configure the on-site Exchange server hardware, provide colocation and hosted DAG witness infrastructure for high-availability designs (DAG requires Exchange 2010 or later), and execute the migration end to end. One accountable party, one engineer who knows your environment, from first planning call to final mailbox move.

Exchange Server End of Support (EOS): The Moment Most Migrations Start

Microsoft ended support for Exchange Server 2016 and Exchange Server 2019 on October 14, 2025. If you are still running either one, you are past EOS right now: no security updates, no bug fixes, no Microsoft support ticket to open. And Exchange is one of the most actively attacked products on the internet.

That deadline is exactly when most organizations start planning a move. As your Microsoft Exchange migration partner, we handle the three honest paths: upgrade on-premises to Exchange Server SE, migrate to Microsoft 365, or buy a supported runway — our Managed IT Services team keeps your legacy server monitored, backed up, hardened, and running safely behind a properly configured firewall while you decide on your own schedule instead of Microsoft’s.

Exchange Server Support and Disaster Recovery

A migration partner should be able to fix what it moves. When Exchange breaks, the whole business feels it in minutes — and we handle the failures that take mail down:

  • Server down, databases won’t mount, dirty shutdown states and log replay recovery
  • Database corruption, ESEUTIL support decisions, and recovery database restores
  • DAG failures, failed-over copies that will not reseed, quorum and witness problems
  • Mail flow stopped: queues backing up, transport failures, connector misconfiguration
  • Certificate expirations breaking Outlook, OWA, ActiveSync, and hybrid mail flow
  • Autodiscover failures, broken virtual directories, client connectivity problems, and underlying Network Support
  • Hybrid failures: broken directory sync, Entra Connect errors, and mail stuck between on-premises and Exchange Online
  • Blacklisted IPs, spoofing incidents, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC cleanup
  • Disk full conditions, transaction log runaway, and backup failures that stopped log truncation

If you have been searching for a Microsoft Tier 3 support alternative because Microsoft’s own queue no longer answers for your version, that is us in practice: senior Exchange engineers, direct on the phone, without the enterprise support contract.

Every Exchange Version, Including the Ones Everyone queue no longer answers for your version, that is us in practice: senior Exchange engineers, direct on the phone, without the enterprise support contract.

Every Exchange Version, Including the Ones Everyone Else Abandoned

Microsoft support has ended for every on-premises Exchange version except Exchange Server SE. That does not make your server disappear — it makes it an orphan, and most IT companies will not touch it. We support and migrate them all:

  • Exchange Server SE (Subscription Edition), the current and only Microsoft-supported on-premises version
  • Exchange 2019 and 2016, out of extended support since October 2025, still running in thousands of businesses
  • Exchange 2013, end of life since April 2023
  • Exchange 2010, 2007, and 2003, the legacy servers nobody else will answer the phone for

Running an out-of-support Exchange server is a real risk: no security patches, and a growing target on your back. We will keep an aging server alive when business reality requires it — stabilized, hardened, and backed up — and we will tell you honestly when it is time to move.

Ongoing Exchange Server Management

Beyond migrations and emergencies, we provide ongoing management for on-premises Exchange: cumulative updates and security patching, backup verification and restore testing, storage and database health, certificate lifecycle, spam and mail hygiene, and monitoring that catches transaction log growth before it fills a drive at 2 AM. If an aging Exchange server is just one of many IT fires you’re fighting, our IT support team can take over day-to-day management.

Why Businesses Still Run On-Premises Exchange

The cloud is not the answer for everyone, and we will not pretend it is. On-premises Exchange still makes sense for organizations with data sovereignty and regulatory requirements, environments with limited or unreliable internet, businesses that want predictable costs instead of per-mailbox subscriptions forever, and shops with existing server investments that still have life in them. High availability without expensive SAN storage has been built in since Database Availability Groups arrived in Exchange 2010, and the standard license covers what most small and mid-size businesses need. Enterprise licensing adds in-place archives, legal holds, and the compliance features regulated industries require. Auto-configuration, Outlook Anywhere, and Outlook Web Access mean any device can reach an Exchange mailbox, on-prem or not.

Exchange Migration Services FAQ

Can you migrate Exchange Online back to on-premises?

Yes — this is one of our specialties and a service very few providers offer. We offboard mailboxes from Exchange Online to on-premises Exchange, including archive mailboxes, permissions, and mail flow continuity throughout the move. Organizations do this for data sovereignty, regulatory requirements, or to escape per-mailbox subscription costs.

How long does an Exchange migration take?

A small cutover migration (under ~50 mailboxes) typically completes in days. Staged or hybrid migrations for larger or compliance-heavy environments run weeks to a few months, depending on mailbox volume, bandwidth, and how much coexistence you need. We give you a realistic timeline after assessing the environment — and we hit it.

My Exchange version is out of Microsoft support. Can you still migrate it?

Yes. Migrating out-of-support Exchange is a specialty of ours, including 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019 — including the multi-hop paths the oldest versions require to reach Exchange Server SE or Microsoft 365.

Should we upgrade to Exchange Server SE or move to Microsoft 365?

It depends on your compliance requirements, internet reliability, and cost tolerance. SE keeps mail in-house under your control with subscription licensing; Microsoft 365 trades control for reduced server ownership. We migrate in both directions and will recommend based on your situation, not our margin.

Can you set up or fix a hybrid Exchange environment?

Yes. We build and support hybrid configurations: on-premises Exchange synchronized with Microsoft 365, including Entra Connect directory sync, hybrid mail flow, shared calendaring, and staged mailbox moves in either direction. We also rescue hybrid setups and migrations that a previous vendor left half-finished.

Exchange is down right now. What do I do?

Call +1 (210) 497-1424. Do not run any utilities or reboot repeatedly before talking to an engineer — some recovery paths close permanently if the wrong step runs first. We will triage remotely and give you a straight assessment of the fastest path back to mail flow.

Do you provide hardware, licensing, and hosting too?

Yes. We sell, configure, and install server hardware for Exchange, along with licensing and implementation. Colocation and hosted DAG witness infrastructure are also available — one vendor for the entire stack, from hardware to the final mailbox move.
